Elegy Written in a Bad Place

And in the end, we can't run away from the hate we've left in the world. Haunted by the ghost of a lost tomorrow. Void of reason. Why should everything be this way? Nothing and No One left to trust. The world... Becoming a thoroughly empty place. Seems so fitting the Sun should have given up faith.

I'm crying--along with every insignificant drop of rain to touch the Earth.

With every attempt I fail to secede from this Black Hole. I call it a 'self-inflicted homicide' -- nothing like a suicide. An escape from a place I no longer recognize. Sometimes I think it was lost somewhere deep within your eyes.

I've seen ghosts trying to pick roses. Yearning--so desperately--to bleed by the thorns. The need for a Love impossible to find. Nothing could compare to the loneliness of a world so blind.

An angel walks through the black. She's screaming. Have you ever heard an angel scream? It's terrifying. It will tear the flesh from your bones. Leave you bleeding and crying alone.

And now -- No One left to help you. And you know it's All_Your_Fault.

For the souls you corrupted. For laughing in the face of everyone you loved as they bled.

And now you're looking for a way to take back what you've done. But the truth is:

You can't take back a bullet once it's left the gun.
