The Changing Town

She turns away with a tear
She does not comprehend this fear
All around people sprint away
She has no simple way to stear

People always pretend it is a play
They all think they must not stay
They desperately push and pull
She resists with a frightened nay.

Everything they say or do is null
They don't understand they aren't full
She see that they will go down
A zephyr turns into a gust so cool

Everywhere around green turns brown
None except her notice in the town
She turns away with a deep frown
She still does not understand now.
