Spirals

I'm going crazy
when I don't see you
I'm getting lazy
cause I feel so alone
Their words don't phase me
when I can't see you
Yeah my world is hazy
I'm out on my own

Chorus
When we're split by many
miles
I can't see you for a
while
and the love just seems
to fade
But when we're side by side
together
Nothing could be any
better
cause that's when I know
forever you'll be mine

I'm flipping through
old photographs
I'm scrolling through
all your old texts
The memories
they make me smile
But lately you make me
make me feel like a child

I'm still not sure if this song is about love or hate. Probably both. Lately, Travis and I have just ended up arguing to each other on the phone. More like he's complaining about how his life sucks, but that's beside the point. I do care for him, and I hope his work treats him better, but aside from that, I can't do much for him when I'm miles away at school. I'm not gonna ditch him for this, but our relationship is struggling because we're both so stressed out, yet neither one of us can see each other. The song's not done yet.

... and honestly, I doubt we're going to split or anything. The past week has just been a minor setback. And this song's clearly not a vendetta against him or anything. I'm just kind of annoyed with him. I still love him. He just needs to learn when to close his mouth, when to show some compassion for my shit I deal with on a daily basis and stop making everything about him / his life / his work / etc. You get the idea.

Random: The tune to go with this is in E-minor. Kind of similar to Peacemaker by Green Day? Almost. Similar theme. I was just strumming my guitar, Eliza, and got this cool rhythm going and came up with the first verse and went from there. And like I said, one or two more verses but still.
Sort of lukewarm about this song, but it's only because it's love / hate. Whatever. Done rambling. Test in the morning! MUST GO TO BED!! zzzz
