A Mistake

Just a man, just a poet.
Had everything in the world but didn't know it.
Nothing was enough; he needed more;
Everything in his life had become a chore.
So he just threw it all away,
Got up and left for bigger things one day.
It wasn't before long he began to suffer,
Over him a depression began to hover.
"It was all a mistake; let me take it back,"
But it was too late, and now he's diving into the black.
Just a boy, all alone.
A huge mistake into his life he had sewn.
