Normally I’d like to give you a literary example of something ironic
But it’s early and I’m feeling a bit sardonic
Instead I’ll tell you that Hero is a whore
And Claudio is a prick
And that Don Pedro can suck my dick
In a class where speaking without permission may as well be yelling
And not doing your homework is something like rebelling
With bats for smashing and matches for lighting
I’d like to demolish the building they call structured writing
Much ado about nothing?
You’re telling me.
Our opinions are invalid if you don’t agree
And frankly I find it absurd
That the misuse of the word
Inconceivable
Is so unbelieveab-
Ly
Amusing.
Don’t get me started on Of Men and Mice
Yeah, yeah they’re metaphorically rich how nice
Doesn’t Lennie pay the price

And who in their right mind names a vehicle desire
I’d like to set that streetcar on fire
Along with Blanche’s dresses and Stanley’s man-hood
We’ll use it like kindling wood
Sorry I’m not more sympathetic
But I can’t figure out which character is most pathetic
Stella-
Such a passive little wife
Leading a passive little life
Blanche-
Plagued by regret
An emotional mess
Well that’s what you get
Didn’t it tip you off that he sewed your wedding dress?
Stanley-
Rapist and alcoholic
What more can I say?
Why is Blanch the only one being locked away?
Lord of flies
Is last to criticize
It’s not that complex woman I swear
Boys on a remote island
Will break bones and rip out each other’s hair
To the death they will fight
Glasses have no deeper meaning than sight
No not that metaphorical fluff
