Ashes

He stumbled in and crashed to the floor,
I heard his head hit the door.
He looked up at me with wild drunken eyes,
he said it over that he found someone better,
some blonde haired blue eyed girl.
who he said gave him the world,

I pushed him out as my heart crumbled
he let out an icy cold breath,
that lit ablaze like a match
that burnt my heart to ashes.

some boy tried to mend my heart,
only to watch it crumble back to ashes.
