Every time I turn on the radio Valentine’s Day advertisements gush out of the speakers and flow into my already damaged ears. Being the cynical and easily irritated person that I am, I immediately turn the radio off. Lately though, I came to appreciate the overly celebrated day. Those dreaded radio ads finally got through to me and brought me realization; Valentine’s Day does not just need to be celebrated with a significant other, but also a great friend or someone lonely. Love can be found in someone whom you least expect to find love with. Those feelings can bring a sudden brightness into a once dull life. Love inspired “In a Bleak Life”.
