Corrupt Generation?

We are restrained from our
truths and good deeds
to become the people who've
been smutthered in lies and sins.

They beat us down
in their wrathful manner.
They try and taunt us
with their lustful ways.

All we do is hold ourselves
back until we give in.

Soon, we don't even realize
we became the people who
live in shame and regret.
