The writers curse

I close my eyes and count to 10
Hoping this fight will come to an end
I love to write I love to sing
But I can’t seem to make you see

My love is pure as are my words
But it leaves my future clearly unsure
Doodling here using words there
You just sit back and stair

College is everything
College is life
Writing is fun
Writing is me
But a writer is something you’ll never let me be
