LEAVES
Winter comes and leaves its print,
Buried beneath layers of cold flint;
Spring comes and makes its mark,
Reviving them with renewing joy;
Summer comes and tests them,
Crumbling them with intense heat;
Fall comes and prepares them,
Breathing bravery into their veins
