My Light

By day I smile and laugh
And by night I cry and sob
No-one knew that I suffered
Because I stayed strong for them
But time was eating my control
And I began to seep into darkness

When I first tarting talking to you
My days were filled with anticipation
And at first I didn't notice
That my darkness was becoming dull
It wasn't until you said you loved me
That I saw light and began to believe

I am grateful you are mine
And that you fill me with hope
Every time I do something that's about you
And what brings hope, is always light
Because light always leads to life
It leads to a better path, better choice
