My Many Faces

I woke up today
In a bit of a sway
When I realized you were away

I'll wake up tonight
Filled with fright
That I can't see you in the light

Mind races
Heart paces
I worry about all my faces

I worry what they see
Who'll they be
If they still love me

All their problems feel like mine
That's okay, that's just fine
It's all apart of a greater design

I wish and hope with all my heart
That their feelings will never part
And they begin their days with a jolly start

I'll do anything to protect them please
I'll even get scorch marks on my knees
I'll even pay the ultimate price with extra fees

I hope they go to amazing places
Without hate to give them traces
