Crsytal Water

A beam of light hits the rocks
causing the multiple colors to shimmer.
A siren interrupts the silence
and his heart begins to beat faster.
A spritz of cologne could be smelled
forcing the boy to shiver.
A piece of gum sat in the corner of his mouth
slightly covering the bitter taste of liquor.
With a last look into the darkness below
he jumps into the crystal water.
