Life is something we all take for granted

Life is something we all take for granted,
We never know what we have until it's taken.
Thinking we are invincible to the world around us,
Telling people they should just 'shush'.
Listening in on every ones' lives,
Not caring and not thinking twice.
We live to make ourselves happy,
Hoping for a love story no matter how sappy.
Living like tomorrow is not our last day,
And saying 'Well to our dismay'.
For we live in a world of hate,
Not knowing what to think.
We live off the attitude of others,
Even though the attitude is sour.
Life is something we all take for granted.
