Cut A Little Deeper

Cut A Little Deeper

Each cut is because of you,
The pain you've caused me,
Carved into my wrist.
The scars haunt me,
Each and everyday,
Remnants of you.

Maybe this time,
I'll cut a little deeper,
Bleed a little longer,
Maybe this time I'll finally die.

Each cut is as deep and raw as the pain,
You have inflicted on me,
Getting deeper with time.
The newest one is the deepest,
Cutting into my vein.

I let the darkness take hold,
Let go of my life,
When they found me,
It was too late,
I died with a smile on my face.

On the mirror a message was scrawled:
'I cut a little deeper,
I bled a little longer,
For you'.

This time,
I cut a little deeper,
Bled a little longer,
And I finally died.
