Souls

Sell me your soul, lad, just for a dime,
No loving now, but plenty of time,
Hell will await you, just say the word,
Controlling your soul, as light as a bird.

The purest, it seems, are often the worst,
Lusting for power as if it were thirst.
A dying rampage without any quest,
You’ll soon realise that life’s just a test.

Then eternal damnation you sure will receive,
To a place so malicious it’s hard to believe.
Your soul is mine now, no you can’t have it back,
You traded it to me so you could just slack.

A worthy bargain, you now can see,
Remember this warning while you are still free,
Money’s not everything, bear that in mind,
Or next time around I shan’t be so kind.
