Life Is Their Own

Scornful sacreligious sight
Don't ask me why
They're so uptight

I see the rainbow
colors fly
Yet they see nothing
Don't ask why

The green of good
Love so serene
With ragged clothes
And worn-out jeans

Their hearts are broken
Falsified
For they shall vanish
When they die

The colors bright
The green so good
We shall run barefoot
Like we should

The paper rips
Upon the seams
The water runs
Awoken dreams

The human sense
Such imperfection
Shall not despair
It's own reflection

It broadens out
Exposing truths
The truth defined
By different youth

THey sin and soar
True peace and love
Not feeling empty
Up above

Enjoying life
And feeling free
Unshaken by society

They fields are scarce
They find them still
The sunset breaks
On rolling hills

No hands are ever left alone
The figures dance
Life is their own
