Peacefully Alive

The salty wind whips at my hair
Eyes closed, breath deep
The poignant scent expands
My lungs, stings my nostrils

It’s magic as darkness transform
Into light
As the East greets the West
All becomes alive
A vivid portrait is painted

The sun emanates a white light
With a promising pale blue sky peeking out from behind.
It flows into soft sherbert which converts from a
Rosy tranquil pink to a dew drop lime
Leading to the darkness which has yet to feel the healing touch

The brilliant sun smiles down upon the sheer clouds
Its golden rays shining right though the sheen, thin wispy layers.
The navy waves bleed into turquoise as they gently slosh, rocking
Like a mother with a sleeping child, catching the suns beam
Then throwing it back, making the ocean twinkle

The golden sun sits low in the vibrant sky
The rays say goodbye as it touches a
Fiery burnt maple consuming a royal magenta
Which kisses a purple bleeding like ink leading into
A deep navy sky with diamonds sparkling, waving farewell
