From a Killer's Perspective

Day after day
It’s just the same thing
Another scum, another crime
I’ve had enough

This world is beautiful
But it’s so sick
With a disease called man
This world has gotten so rotten

They get away, they’re still alive
Would it be any different
If I were to try?
Judging from what I live with
It’s so easy to take a life

Two forces at war
Living in the same nation
The public is not afraid
Yet the law is so soft
Is this what you call an iron hand?

Everyone is born with a right
It’s okay to be wicked
They can’t kill me. I’m alright
Confinement isn’t so bad
And that’s only if I get caught

This world is so impure
A flood wouldn’t do
Justice can’t wait
We need a savior

Is it wrong to kill the evil?
They deserve to die
I’m the god who needs no word
I’ll leave the righteous
I’ll start my own world

I love Death Note, especially Kira. I'm a huge Kira fan, mostly because I agree with his philosophy. This would be a tribute to Light, but it's more than that too. I wrote this because I sometimes wonder if we misjudge killers. What if their motives were honest and righteous?
