Was This To Be Her Fate?

Everyday, all the hate,
Consumes her, piece by piece,
Was this to be her fate?
All she wanted was peace,
But no one knew,
Because no one heard,
Even though she gave many a clue.

Her pretty little face stained with tears,
As she walked from school back home,
Back to the place she fears.
She lets her imagination roam,
She wants to be anywhere but here.
She'd go to a far away place,
Or maybe somewhere near.

This little girl grew,
Every year getting sicker and sicker,
Of this pain and hate she knew.
The situations getting stickier and stickier.
She's given up hope long ago,
All she wanted was the suffering to end,
Feeling no emotion she decided to go,
It was too late to mend.

Cup in one hand, pills in the other,
She swallowed the pills, planning to die.
Doing this because her father and mother,
Little did she know I wasn't ready to say good bye.
She woke up, not in heaven, but in the hospital,
She wasn't sad nor mad, but patient and calm,
Because things will get better, little by little

Just wait a few more years,
You've made it this far,
Then we can get out of here,
On you're 18th birthday, I'll be there with my car.
I promise I'll always be your best friend,
And I'll be there for you and love you till the end.
