Single Black Rose

A single black rose
Lays on her grave
A murderous laugh
came a year too late

Her screams echo
through the wind
Cause she fell
to a miserable end

She walked alone
In the woods that night
He was behind her
The entire time

The town captivated
by her mistery
frozen bones found scattered
hidden in the trees

Friends mourning
Over tradegy
Stuck in wonder
Where was he?

& He remembers the storm that night
She;d been crying after their fight
He said "I'm sorry"
She pushed him away
He promised everything would be okay
He followed her in to the dark....

He hid her body
& he burned his clothes
What really happened?
Only he knows

He's clouded with guilt
Oh, he loved her so
he layed down
that single black rose

The whole town
Captivated in her mystery
he hung himself
in the trees.
