What Love Is

Love is what gives life meaning
What makes you feel like you're dreaming,
It takes you out of depressing times,
And is the beginning of innocent crimes.

Where the only thing stolen is someone’s heart
A feeling so strong that it won't fall apart
It is what keeps you going when times get hard
Opens up emotions that were once on guard.

That one feeling, forever strong,
That feeling that stays for so long,
What one wants to never go
What is love for those who don't know?

Do not worry, do not fret,
Falling in love, something you won't regret
It is the strongest feeling, as of yet
And a definite feeling that you'll never forget.

For so much time true love is not there,
But please don't go and despair
For one day you will find its true,
When you find that special someone for you.

They make you laugh, flutter, and smile
Hope that this feeling here will stay awhile
And if not I will find it soon,
Although, I'd rather it be this afternoon

You'd have never thought you could feel so great,
And do not give in because it’s never too late,
You'll find them in time so do not worry,
Despite the fact that we're both in such a hurry.

When you're on the verge of giving in,
You might find love and then you'll win,
And you'll be happier than you've ever been
A new chapter of life has yet to begin.
