Falling for Him

It hits her unexpectadly like a thunder bolt,
elecrtifying each cell in her body.
Done by the work of a mere electron volt.
A tear collapses from her hazelnut eyes,
as she stares up at the horizon, so grey and cloudy.

Her emotions reflect upon the sky,
an unpredictable storm which vanishes in seconds,
leaving simply the rain which swept by.
Sun reflecting on the wetlands.

An inexplicably warm somatic sensation,
Rises in the heart of her soul.
Only hoping it lasts for an everlasting duration,
For she knows it's not in her control.

Angelic tone tactualy sets itself deep,
into parts of her she never imagined could.
An aching and yearning in her sleep,
awakened by a burning flame she finally understood.
