Woman
There is a woman with eyes of brown,
Unblinking and sad, they hide heartache.
Tears slip down, staining her cheeks.
There is a woman with lips so soft,
Untouched and quivering,
No longer kissed.
There is a woman with skin so pale,
Unseen by the sun, hidden from the world,
Dreaming of a fairy tale prince to rescue her.
There is a woman with beauty uncompared,
Hidden away from those she once held near.
She closes her eyes, blurring the lines
Between fantasy and reality.
Unblinking and sad, they hide heartache.
Tears slip down, staining her cheeks.
There is a woman with lips so soft,
Untouched and quivering,
No longer kissed.
There is a woman with skin so pale,
Unseen by the sun, hidden from the world,
Dreaming of a fairy tale prince to rescue her.
There is a woman with beauty uncompared,
Hidden away from those she once held near.
She closes her eyes, blurring the lines
Between fantasy and reality.

This is my very first poem ever. I'm not sure if it's any good.
