What They Don't See

This one was kinda inspired by the first line of "She" by Green Day. Written in French class, based on a collage of people I know, not just one person.

---------------------------------

They say she's so pretty and cute
They give the diagnosis, say it won't hurt
She's shy, she's quiet, she's a little out of place
But pay no attention! She put on her happy face.
That face they all see and everyone assumed that she'd be
The one that she's sick of and can't wait to leave.
Every day for her is a lie,
But all they see is her pretty face as she sighs.
She gives them what they want because ignorance is bliss
But, so tragic, she'll never be ignorant again.
