I'm Nothing Without...

I'm nothing,
Without the drip drip drip,
Of the warm red blood.
Without it I'd be clean,
I'd be crying and angry.
But now I have an escape,
A wonderfully terrible escape.
Numbness and without feeling,
I can give myself to pain,
Give myself to death.
I love to run it across,
My cold and desperate skin.
I am nothing without the pain.
It let's me live, but almost dead.
