My Joy

Could the doves I release, break like glass?
Only if their hearts were fragile like my past.

It's a heart that sings and dances in the wind,
Plays the tune of a tear jerking man.

Deep inside is ruptured with pain,
An aroma too strong, I can't sustain.

Days of sorrow, they come and they go,
But somewhere on the road, my true heart will glow.

And the smile will come out, as the sad day goes,
Battling the lost ones, my personal woes.

And the night comes out, and the owl begins the chant,
That brings me back to my life in full rant.

And I become what I was from the beginning,
A joyous person that has a fragile heart,
It just needed a kick,
Beat, beat, there it starts.

My joy, my joy,
something wrong inside this boy.

But this boy doesn't care, he will always have his joy,
And this pain he feels, hurts less than a toy.
