The sunset breaks on the clean ocean water

The sunset breaks on the clean ocean water
Taking in the clean air
Looking up in the sky
I feel like I can fly
The sand between my toes
The waves crashing down echoes
Looking all around
The birds surround
I slowly feel wanted
One of them is wounded
I walk slowly towards it
His wing was hit
And broke it
He was black, a beautiful bird
So unheard
I put my hands out and he smells them
His little tiny feet hop into my hand
He is chewing my wristband
I close my hand with him inside and think I wish I could help him
I wish everything and everyone could be happy
He got slim
And is making sounds so I open my hands and he is a beautiful white bird
Beautiful in so many ways
I let him fly off
Everything is so beautiful and the sun reflects off the water
