Describing Thee
Thou art brighter than a summer's day
Than the moon, the stars, the sun.
Thou art as if they were all combined
into one glorious being.
I have no sweeter music
than the sound of your voice
whispering quietly in the dead fall of night.
I have no need for air
for I have already found
what I need to survive.
For my life, my care-free, passionate life
would be minuscule and meaningless
if it were not for thee.
Thou art my summer, my winter, my autumn, my spring;
My sun, my moon, my stars, my light;
my most favored melody and my treasured air.
For thou art my world- and everything in it.
Than the moon, the stars, the sun.
Thou art as if they were all combined
into one glorious being.
I have no sweeter music
than the sound of your voice
whispering quietly in the dead fall of night.
I have no need for air
for I have already found
what I need to survive.
For my life, my care-free, passionate life
would be minuscule and meaningless
if it were not for thee.
Thou art my summer, my winter, my autumn, my spring;
My sun, my moon, my stars, my light;
my most favored melody and my treasured air.
For thou art my world- and everything in it.
