Forever Unfair; The Life That We Bare

The warm summer breeze blows,
Leaving me hot and cold.
The heat makes me breathless,
The sun so caressless.

And then I see you.
Just standing there without a thought or care.
Don't know where you came from, dear,
But all I know is that I wish to hold you near.

You're standing there,
Not knowing where
Your heart belongs,
Your deepest fear.

You want to stay here,
Just me and you,
But another family...
Wants you, too.

The struggle of choice,
The hardship of loss,
And now you know,
That I have to go.

Choose which now--
Your family or mine,
To be with me forever,
Would be just divine.

And the thoughts of them faded,
The memories were raided.
You fought for their memory,
But they kept slipping away.

Your eyes met with mine,
So beautiful and divine,
Wanted you to be thine,
But I'm wired through these vines.

I live on the summer,
The nature,
The wonder.
I can't take your thunder.

I'm as fragile as a pea,
No one else I can be.
I can't be with thee,
So I melt into the sea.

This world is so big,
Covered with so many things.
Can't take on the responsibility,
Can't fake all the reminisces.

So I'm forced to say goodbye,
Because if not... I'll die.
Wish I could stay forever,
But life is just this unfair.
