The walls close in
with each smile you give.
Too close, too much!
How can I escape your touch?
I need to be free
you’re smothering me!
And there is not much more I can take.

They say be happy,
life is yours to live.
So why am I stuck in this spot
with nothing I want to give?
I cannot let myself be free
with everyone judging me.

Why can’t you see
that we weren’t meant to be?
Each smile is fake,
and with every breath I take
I wish that soon as can be
there is an end to you and me.

I hate that I’m the girl
that will eventually destroy your world
But the more I try,
the more my feelings die,
the stronger the urge to cry.
So please, when this ship goes down
notice my frown.
