Custody
Custody is a strong word.
Sometimes, even a hurtful word.
Custody has many meanings, but I have my own definition: "Hell in one word."
Custody is such a weird word.
The real meaning? "A description of the legal relationship between a parent (or guardian) and child."
In my case, a parent. Actually, two parents.
Ever heard of the word jail?
I have. Many many times, too.
My.. I mean, someone, told me that Jail was a scary place where bad, bad, scary people go.
Hopefully, I won't ever experience it.
But, sadly, someone has. Someone whom I love, and care for deeply.
But they promised they wouldn't ever experience it, ever again.
And divorces? Pssht. Those just suck. Especially when you're 9 years old, and you've never heard of the word.
And they're even worse when your parents are getting divorced because of violence for 10 years straight.
