Wilderness
The dead are cold
and lie without motion within the earth
But when they rise at the blackest night
they take away all living's mirth
They nourish on the living
those dead creatures from the Empty Space
In search of satisfying their ceaseless thirst
they wander through this desert maze
For a living to cross this Space
one must emulate the dead
He who wants to cross this wilderness
should have feet quicker than lead
But beware of the radiant fungus
living who survived it are few
But concerning all danger in this desert
you are lucky to begin a day anew
and lie without motion within the earth
But when they rise at the blackest night
they take away all living's mirth
They nourish on the living
those dead creatures from the Empty Space
In search of satisfying their ceaseless thirst
they wander through this desert maze
For a living to cross this Space
one must emulate the dead
He who wants to cross this wilderness
should have feet quicker than lead
But beware of the radiant fungus
living who survived it are few
But concerning all danger in this desert
you are lucky to begin a day anew
