"I" Poem

I remember the day you left.
I was shattered and broken.
I silently cried for you for days.
I wished for you to hold me again.
I wished 4 u 2 make me laugh.
I wished for you to make me smile again. Though it will never happen again.
I remembered our times together.
I remember them being both sad and happy.
I still hear your voice.
I hear those comforting words I need, as I block out the world.
I know you are gone but I feel you’re here still.
I keep up my faith because of it.
I believe you are always there.
I believe one day we will see each other again.
I believe you will hold me again. But until then,
I’m shattered and broken.
