Stille

He articulated words that could not compensate the danger
For this glorious message he was the exchanger
Ardently, he spoke
About the hatred his race had gone to evoke
“Juden, hört mir zu. Verschonen Sie sich” [German: Jews, listen to me. Spare yourselves]
But there seemed to be a perceiving glitch

Fervently, his beautiful firearm spoke for him
Committing atrocious deeds that would never be approved
It seemed as if this had simply been done on a whim
The plague of the human race was to be removed
“Juden, hört mir zu. Ich werde Sie zerstören” [German: Jews, listen to me. I will destroy you]
The demise of many is a broken fountain pen

Had this been a veiled fraction of the scripture?
The world has courteously, bravely sit to watch-
Witness what no outsider can picture
The amount of lives one astounding man planned to scotch

Their ears are ruined!
We must piece them back together
For they have been loosened
And have not heard the images that come from the land of nether

This is a poem I wrote for my English class where I had to write about a theme of the Holocaust. I have yet to turn it in so feedback would be very nice.
