Fear

The lights go off. she cowers in fear, clutching her sheets until her knuckles turn white. It’s coming to get her, its coming to take her away. Her big brown eyes, shut tightly as she tries to hide. She pulls the cloth over her body, wishing for the lights to come back on. From the hall there’s a loud thump. Her thoughts start to run wild. It’s killing her family, it’s under the bed, it’s in the closet or maybe it’s all in her head. Tears fall down her cheeks as she tries to push her fears away. She tries and tries but the fear doesn’t subside, instead it gets worse and worse as she builds up an image of the monster. In her mind she sees long white fangs, bloodshot eyes peeking out of the darkness, waiting for her to look at it. Then it can attack and kill her viciously and gruesomely. Her hazel hair falls over her eyes, causing her fingers to clutch the cloth to the point of breaking. She lets out a horrific scream…………………
