So Can I

Do you see me?
I don't think you do.
Do you know who I am?
Or am I nothing too?

Let me explain,
As best as I can,
I'll start at the start,
From the moment it began.

I used to love,
When I thought you were the one,
When I though life had a point,
When there wasn't a need to run.

When everything was good,
It was just you and me,
There was no darkness,
Light was what you could see.

But then you left.
And in came the pain,
The sensation of nothingness,
Except like being hit by a train.

I watched you.
I saw you walking away.
I thought you'd be back,
I waited for that day.

But that day hasn't come yet,
You haven't turned around.
You haven't looked for me,
I haven't been found.

So I'm sitting here,
Waiting for you,
For you to come,
Because I've nothing else to do.

I'm alone,
I have nowhere else to be,
Nobody wants to stay,
Nobody wants to help me.

I'm afraid.
I'm going to go,
I'll find you instead,
Where, I don't know.

I'll figure it out,
You chose to die.
If you can do something like that,
Then so can I.
