Be That Butterfly You've Always Wanted To Be.

Pack your things and run if you will.
It doesn’t matter; the past will irk still.
Put your hair in your eyes,
It’s your choice to be blind.
Hope the time flies fast,
Push everything to the back of your mind.

The wound never fully heals.
After time, the hurt will be that of which appeals.
You promise yourself that you will never again trust.
But to let someone back in; it is a must.

Now you can only live your life in black and white,
For so long, until you bleed, begging for sight.
Insanity can push you to do the unthinkable,
Assure yourself, but do not always do the predictable.

You can surrender yourself as much as you desire,
Where’s that going to get you? Why hope to die, and burn in a sinful fire?

Why wait for a master? Set your own self free.
With your own actions, don’t get carried away with glee.
Be confident in yourself, you cannot fail within yourself with something like this.
If you are truly determined, you can do anything you wish.

Don’t cower and deliberately endure avoidable things.
Embrace your strength, use all those senses; don’t just look but see.
Climb out of that box, use those cracked wings.
Be that bird, be that butterfly you’ve always wanted to be.
