Pandora's Box

They told me to make my words pop
They told me there was no bad poem
They said only good and great
I took that to heart

I opened MY heart to the paper and let it flow
The things that came out are indescribable
The horrors of a 13 year-old-girl's mind
Not just any 13 year-old girl, this 13 year-old-girl

Things that should never be imagined
Pain unfathomably strong
Addiction to the innumerable degree
Hatred filled to the brim
Ugliness that would make even the most beautiful person cringe
Hope so small, it's not really there

Poetry unleashed a Pandora's box of sorts
I'm taking it to the next level
My poetry will never be contained
This box is unsealable
