Never Too Young

They tell me I'm too young
Too young to feel that much pain
Too young to know what love is
Too young to take thing that seriously
Too young to think of my future
Too young to act that mature
Too young to defy society
I am never too young
I have lived life, my life
My generation has been cheated be its elders
To them, I say:
"No!
I am not too young.
I'm sick and tired of not getting the respect I deserve,
Sure, I'm young,
But life isn't measured by years,
It's measured in experience,
And I can tell you now that my experiences surmount plenty of your's.
So let me be young,
But I am never too young."
