Angel and Demon

I am the demon.
I torture the living.
They are no longer freemen,
once they enter my domain.

You are the angel.
The one that saves the souls.
The souls that belong to damnation
that should be racked over hell’s burning coals.

I am the tempest.
I make men want.
I make them desire.
All for taunts.

You steer some away.
Show them the right,
you take my prey.
I'm ready to fight.

I watched you from across the room.
I analyzed my attacks,
because soon sweetie you will meet your doom.

I don’t care if you have wings of white,
because my wings of black
will bring great fright.

You stood your ground
I stood mine;
And there you frowned,
while I seemed fine.

I let my fingers travel across your chest,
I whispered desires into your head
Yet you didn’t take to me test.

So I stepped up my game.
I let my wings of black cover yours of white.
Now you were my claim.

I didn’t care what the others thought about me
You were mine
No one else’s.

They told you not to get close to my kind.
I told you they lied;
They were just messing with your mind.

You believed me.
I smirk from my place,
And then I smiled at you.
As I traced your face.

I am the demon
I torture freemen
You are the angel the life
and now I’m your wife.

I stared at them with a smirk
As they tried to get their beautiful angel back.
But no matter how hard they worked,
You were mine.
