I'll See You In Hell.

He look into her eyes...
Looks down to her battered and bloody body,
He stares at her like she's worthless.
And she's been everything to him.
He treated her like shit;
She loved him.
He beat her with broken glass;
She stayed by him.
He shattered her heart;
She forgave him.
And she crossed him.
Now she's lying on the cold hard ground:
A reflection of his eyes,
Asking what she did to deserve his wrath.
Her hair is matted with her blood,
His clothes drenched in her tears.
He stands above her staring down in dissapointment;
At the battered shell of the strong woman she was.
Shaking his head at her weaknss,
He sheds one tear and raises his hands to her again;
Her only response a muffled 'I'm sorry."
He stops his assult and looks deeper into her eyes;
"Why?" He asked her simply, tilting his head in confusion.
She struggles to her feet with agony in her eyes and determination on her face.
"For what I'm about to do, for taking your shit, but mostly for this,"
As she pulls a gun from behind her back, her last attempt at survival, She says;
"I'm sorry for blowing your fucking head off."
As she pulls the trigger.
She stares at this empty shell of him.
And thinks 'how did I let this happen?'
Then she leans down and whisperes to his corpse;
"You know, I hear that when you go to Hell, you feel the pain you've made others suffer through. Well I hope you enjoy eating glass you miserable bastard."
She stands, she turns to walk away, and realizes;
She can't just leave him here.
She can't get caught.
"Fire."
She whisperes to herself.
She finds her bag, and strikes a match.
As she looks into the flame, she sees his eyes,
And she laughs as she flicks the fire to the ground.
Everything's ablaze, and the reflection in her eyes is pain, and fear, and love, and hate.
"Goodbye, my love."
She whisperes, as she stumbles from the fire,
And frees herself from his grasp, forevermore.
