Our Brightest Star
Encased in the blue ocean above,
Surrounded by a multi-coloured ribbon of light.
Exploding rays coming from within,
It’s warmth caressing our skin.
Feeding our souls and the world around us,
Setting our spirits ablaze.
Chasing away the night,
Taking the stars as it goes.
Heating our bodies,
Blinding our eyes.
Piercing the darkness,
Exposing the shadows
Illuminating our path.,
Showing us the way.
