Mirror Image

Look in the mirror what do you see
Do you see the person you want to be?
Or someone other people have made you to be?
Are you the person leading the choir?
Or are you the back-up singer?
Society has made us all the same
Save for the people who break the bonds
Of similarity
The people that say I'm unique
Well I am unique
I sit here day after day
Wondering all the same
Wondering what to do
To break routine to live life serene
Life is different to each
So to each their own
Difference is bliss
Not ignorance or incapacitated knowledge
Choose the latters and
So seals your fate to end up
Just the way society wants it.
