Infected

You made me do it.
Made me walk over the edge.
I could feel myself falling closer,
To the end.

I could not stop it,
No matter how hard I tried,
You pushed further and further,
Until I died.

My soul deflated,
When you spoke those words,
My heart got crushed,
When will I learn?

That you're nothing but danger,
I can feel your warmth,
As you crept nearer,
My vision warped.

The end came faster,
Than I would've expected,
You took my heart with you,
And left me infected.
