Young Hearts Are Lost

A princess with a life that was less than perfect,
The young girl urns for more
A prince with a castle, and a heart to adore.
Their love was strong and before too long,
She ran away from home.

So could they lye together, the only thing they covet is each other,
Lost in lust pressing themselves into one and other.
They lost their youth.
She gave up everything for him.
As he for her,
Their bodies are still young but their hearts grew old.
Leaving everything behind wasn’t as easy as they were told.

But their love was strong and
After the church bells rung,
They became one
They gave themselves up, she gave herself up.
At 14 years old she was sure of her love.

More months past as her whom grew,
One minimum wage job just would not make due.
Still a child herself, she felt every movement every kick,
Tears fell from her lashes and onto her stomach.
She was too young the baby came too soon, weeks before he was due.
No preparations were made.
The nameless child left too soon, with a small body to put in the grave.

The time that fallowed was grime.
The child died in her womb, the blame on her.
The charming price then hit and slapped his princess.
He promised not to do it again; his word would make no amend.
Their young love soon blossomed again, and her stomach grew.
This little one was different, the baby girl was healthy.
As the mother held her baby the prince held his princess.

Her only love is for their family.
She was only 14 when those church bells rung and 15 when her daughter cried.
This goes to show,
Young hearts are lost when their lost in time.
