Like a Fairy Tale

She lay down her head
She felt not alive, but somewhat dead
But the ice it fled
And the warmth, it grew

It was like a fairy tale to be read
And she opened her eyes
It was so existent, so true
It was a pleasant wonder

From the ground to the skies
The flowers were in bloom
The music played in tact, in tune
The sun lit her face

Like a warm embrace
She raised her from the grass
And she didn’t bat an eyelash…
To the past

But then the day crashed
And the night arrived
The sun went astray
She then closed her eyes

And her thoughts ran away
She awoke again
And coldness was there
With its fierce glare

It was dream, a fairy tale
Her real life was bitter, so failed
No sweet scenery, no flowers in bloom
She was retained back in place so ruined
