Read

Here is something for you to read
This poem to you, your comment to me
These letters.... like symphonies, so coordinated
These sentences swapped around so much I don't know where they originated
If I didn't care about what I wrote
Would I have read them note by note
What is there to show, what is there to learn
What if I wanted you to to read, if it is what I yearn
I wanna wanna wanna, let you read my speeches, day to day
I'm gonna gonna make you say, "No way"
"This is beautiful" But what is their to show
If you were so low, to say, " So?"
Would you care if I quit writing?
Would I care if you stopped reading?
If I started to sing, and you started needing?
If you started dancing, and I started leading?
Would you think there would be happiness in my writing
Stop dying, Stop lying, Stop crying, and Stop citing
Would you care if I ever stopped writing,
Just my every day writing,
for you?
