I love him, he's dying.

His eyes glitter ,sapphires in the moonlight
I love him so, but life just isn't right.
The world plans to take him away,
Death in the night, sorrow in the day.

If love could be stronger than death,
then I'd give him my final breath,
Just to see him live one more day
In happiness instead of just fade away.

His laughter the sound of tinkling bells,
His strength more than a thousand hells,
Though that strength may be fading fast
I hope his happiness will last.

If pain is love and love is war,
Can the pain I feel be not a thousand wars?
I want to hold him in my arms,
And try to keep him from further harm.

War is love is pain is death,
The pain he feels at his slowly fading breath
Will haunt us all an million times over
The last breath of a dying lover.
