Smitten For Kittens

I'm smitten for these kittens
Even though they're very small
I'm smitten for these kittens
I'd like to have them all

When Mama cat leaves
I sneak and take a peek.
Even though their eyes are closed
They can move around and squeak

I'm smitten for these kittens
Their fur is soft as silk
Here Mama comes to feed her babies
They're crying for her milk

At night before I go to bed
I kneel down and start to pray.
God bless the little kittens
Who like to sleep and play

With Mama gone
I creep out of bed
And sneak a peek once more
Say Goodnight to all of them
And blow a kiss to the kittens four.

I'm smitten for these kittens
Colored orange, white, and gray
I'm smitten for these kittens
And I wish they all could stay.
